Breakout
Futures is my platform for offering trading systems to futures
traders. I started Breakout Futures to offer other futures traders the
software I developed for my own trading. Over the years, I've developed
numerous EasyLanguage trading systems and functions for my own
use, as well as several spreadsheets and various C/C++ language programs.
With Breakout Futures, I'm
committed to developing new and innovative methods for trading the futures
markets. I intend to regularly upgrade and improve my systems and to share these improvements with my customers. You can be sure that
I'm working on something new as you read this.
My Background:
I earned a BS degree in engineering
from the University of Connecticut (1984) and MS (1985) and PhD (1989)
degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
with a minor in computer science. I worked in the aerospace industry in
the field of spacecraft design for three years. Following that,
I held faculty positions for 11 years in the Department of Ophthalmology
at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and in the
Department of Mechanical Engineering at USC. I presently operate Breakout Futures,
Adaptrade Software,
and trade my own account.
In addition to futures trading,
I've worked on a variety of problems in engineering and science, including
the computer-aided and optimal design of mechanical components, the biomechanics
of refractive surgery, spacecraft design, the pathogenesis of myopia, and
growth and remodeling of the eye. I've been trading and studying the futures
markets since 1994.

in Breakout Futures,
